Knocking King's Down is Casino Greene's 6th mix-album compilation. Arguably Nashville, Tennessee's most notable unsigned hype Greene separates the "have and the have nots" with his latest project.
Showing his versatility and growth, He uses soliloquies and elaborate storytelling to touch on topics crucial to today's society. With tracks like "Generation Y" and "Mind Control" Greene urges listeners to pay more attention to the influence mainstream media has on youth. Track number five, entitled "David," is a modern day tale of the ever popular David and Goliath story that lyrically encourages listeners to overcome any obstacle, no matter how hard the trial. No stranger to hardships, Greene even talks about his own demons on "Why Wait" and sends "Warning Shots" with track number eight, letting everyone know he's not to be slept on for too much longer. Even more shots are fired when he drops "Backpack Rapper," an upbeat club banger in which Greene challenges rappers who only talk about money, cars and clothes to step their game up.
What's evident with this project is Greene has definitely stepped up his game. With something for every listener, we must admit Knocking King's Down is a must have in heavy rotation this fall.
