NO SIGN UP / LOGIN REQUIRED FOR THIS EXCLUSIVE RELEASE!
“AMY WINEHAUS ’11” is an unreleased COG KA’RON record featuring B-MAC, originally recorded in 2011 and finally seeing the light of day.

The record is a raw trap influenced street anthem about being addicted to the lifestyle. Money. Fashion. Retail. Fly shit. The constant pursuit of having more and living better. B-MAC brings the hook with the unforgettable “Amy, Amy, Amy Winehaus” refrain while COG KA’RON delivers the street perspective.

This one captures a different era of the movement and the sound of the early 2010s while representing the Houston and Shreveport connection that helped shape the record.

More than anything, “AMY WINEHAUS ’11” is another example of how timeless COG KA’RON’s music has always been. A record created in 2011 can be opened from the vault years later and still speak to the culture, the lifestyle and the sound of today. That’s what happens when you create from instinct instead of chasing trends.

COG KA’RON has always been ahead of the time. The ideas, the lifestyle, the fashion, the sound and the vision were being documented before a lot of it became the blueprint everybody follows today.

Recorded in 2011. Never released. Still sounds like it belongs in the conversation today.

Now it’s time to open the vault.
