Last year Pilerats released a free compilation to launch their now fledging record label, Pilerats Records. After years of throwing some of the best parties and festivals the country, and giving shine to countless Australian and International artists through the Pilerats Blog, Rat Pack #1 dropped last March featuring brand new tracks from Ryan Hemsworth, Esta, Electric Mantis, Catlips, Leon Osborn, Trippy Turtle, Odesza, and lots lots more. The guys are really pleased to announce, just in time for Xmas, that Rat Pack #2 is ready.
Round 2 features another white hot slice of Australia’s best and brightest, as well as a handful of top shelf internationals exploring every fertile corner of electronic dance music, from slow house, to heart string tugging trap bangers, to the ever mutating sounds of footwork. This time you get a lush as you like servcing of R&B from Brisbane new blood Floria, a moody cavernous stomper from Lower Spectrum, an outrageously swagged out/screwed down edit of 50 Cent from Pilerats home grown hero Sable, a truly wild track deep from the grotto of Baltimore footwork champion Lil Jabba, a special V.I.P from the untouchable UV Boi, new bits from Time Pilot, Catlips, DYP, & loads more.
