He started as a musician in elementary through high school participating in the marching, concert & jazz band. In 2008 he started a label with his brother entitled “Truly Gifted Empire” which was founded to help upcoming independent artists, producers, gfx designers, vixens, and etc. YDG planned to take it global to avoid leaving any potential artist left behind to miss an opportunity. 
In 2013 as YDG working on creating sounds and producing beats everyday, he also was preparing to graduate high school. He met Atlanta’s very own Peewee Longway and got his 1st placement producing the song “James Bond” off of a mixtape titled “MPA” by Peewee Longway & Gucci Mane. From that day forward, Peewee Longway labeled YDG as his personal in-house Super Producer/Engineer, and later worked with major artist such as Young Thug, the Migo’s, Rich Homie Quan, Skooly, Bricc Baby, and more.
 
This project entitled “My Brudda Made Dis Trakk”(MBMDT),also know as his producer tag, holds some of the latest beats produced by himself. He specified that there will be chapters of different selections of available instrumentals created by him.
