Tin Gardens is composed of Matias Añon and Cody Samson. Both are from Chicago. In fact, they met in high school and have been making music together ever since the summer of their graduation. With 'Swells', Tin Gardens sophomore EP, Matias andd Cody were looking to develop their own unique sound. The result is a clever blend of downtempo electronic, indie and experimental rock. Their sound is reminiscent of bands like Radiohead and Beach House with added influences from the new breed of slow and lingering production, genre blending music from artists like Shlohmo.
