“Emotions,” track number 11 on this critically acclaimed album, hits all the right notes—the beat is right, the lyrics are on point, and the execution is flawless.

The beat resonates with an exquisite R&B-flavored touch, but it still does not lose its core hip-hop essence. So, you can imagine just how delectable it is with its captivatingly beautiful blend of rhythm and melodies, providing a red carpet for Major D-Star to walk on, and when he does, he does so with glitz and glamour.

The sultry feel of his vocals smoothly glides over this mellow yet danceable foundation, creating a sonic unity with the beats, while the impressively catchy lyrics and unforgettable hooks ensure this track stays with the listener long after it ends.

“Emotions” captures the kind of vulnerable, receptive, and expressive emotional feelings for that special kind of person that you’re crazy in sync with. Your kind of perfect match that feels you, understands you, and knows how to make you happy and pleasured in all ways, hence the vividly racy lyrics as Major uses graphic imagery and wordplay to create a sensual atmosphere in the song.

The verses underscore the passionate and intense nature of the relationship, and the climax in the form of a female POV interlude highlights the dynamics of having the right partner—a person who is elevated, conscious, and in tune with herself, her emotions, and spirituality.

The perfect anthem for all the true lovers who get into each other’s “emotions,” this jam is a must-listen for anyone who loves infectious, catchy, racy, relatable, and danceable music.
