LiveMixtapes.com (“LiveMixtapes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using our website, apps, or services (the “Service”), you agree to this Policy.

- Account & Contact Information: When you register, subscribe, or contact support, we may collect your name, email, payment details (processed securely by third parties), and related account information.
- Usage Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, and site/app activity (pages visited, search queries, content played, ads viewed).
- Cookies & Similar Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, and mobile SDKs to remember preferences, keep you signed in, measure usage, and deliver relevant ads.
- Location Data: Approximate location (such as city or region derived from IP address). The LiveMixtapes iOS app does not collect precise GPS location.
- Content Uploads (Artists/Labels): Uploaders and LMT Pro partners provide metadata and rights information tied to their projects for hosting, streaming, and (where applicable) sales.
3. How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process Premium memberships, purchases, and payouts.
- Personalize content, ads, and recommendations.
- Measure analytics and engagement.
- Communicate with you (service updates, account alerts, marketing if you opt in).
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Service Providers: Payment processors (e.g., Stripe), hosting partners, analytics providers, ad networks, and customer support tools—only to perform services for us.
- Advertising & Measurement Partners: Trusted partners may use cookies/SDKs to show relevant ads and measure performance. You can manage choices in §7.
- Legal & Compliance: To comply with law, enforce agreements, or respond to valid legal requests.
- Business Transfers: If we merge, sell assets, or reorganize, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention & Security
- We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.
- We use reasonable safeguards (encryption, access controls) to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
7. Ads, Analytics & Cookies
We work with advertising and measurement partners to provide ads and analytics. These partners may use cookies, hashed emails, or device IDs to serve interest-based ads and to measure performance.

7.1 Chat Features – Privacy & Safety Addendum (iOS-Accurate)
Availability. LiveMixtapes chat is available only to authenticated users of the LiveMixtapes iOS app and is delivered through an embedded web view.
User-Generated Content. LiveMixtapes chat includes public and private rooms. Messages and content shared in chat are user-generated and provided through the chat service.
Moderation & Safety. Moderation, reporting, blocking, and muting tools are provided within the chat service (web application). These tools are not implemented natively in the iOS app but are available through the embedded chat experience. Administrative moderation is used to review and remove content that violates our Terms of Use or applicable law.
Data Retention. Chat message retention is handled by the chat backend systems. The iOS app does not locally store chat message history. Messages are retained for up to 30 days unless longer retention is required for moderation, security, or legal purposes.
Tracking & Advertising (iOS). On iOS devices, LiveMixtapes follows Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. Tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies occurs only where permitted by the user, and preferences may be changed at any time in device settings.

8. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Parents/guardians can contact us with any concerns.
9. Public Forums
Public forums, including public chat rooms and comment areas, are visible to other users. Do not post information you do not want shared.
10. International Users
If you are outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States, which may not provide the same protections as your home country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes means acceptance.
